Salary: £45,000 per annum / £21.50 per hour
Hours: Full Time – Approximately 40 hours per week
Are you an experienced nurse with a passion for dementia care and strong leadership skills? We're looking for a dedicated Clinical Lead to join a highly reputable nursing home in Peterborough, working closely alongside the Home Manager on our Dementia Nursing Unit.
About the Role: As Clinical Lead, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. You’ll provide clinical leadership and support to a committed team of nurses and carers, overseeing care plans, mentoring junior staff, and driving continuous improvement in line with the home’s excellent standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day clinical operations on the Dementia Nursing Unit
- Support and mentor nursing and care teams, ensuring safe and effective care
- Carry out clinical audits, medication management, and care plan reviews
- Work in partnership with the Home Manager to maintain compliance with CQC standards and best practice guidelines
- Liaise with residents’ families, GPs, and other healthcare professionals
- Respond to clinical emergencies and ensure appropriate escalation
- Promote dignity, respect, and person-centred care at all times
Skills & Experience Required:
- NMC Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)
- Minimum 18 months' experience in a Senior Nurse position or above
- In-depth knowledge of dementia care and clinical governance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving abilities
- Passion for developing others and delivering high-quality, compassionate care
