A leading provider of ophthalmic care is seeking a Lead Theatre Practitioner to join their expert surgical team across Oxshott and East Grinstead. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the theatre team to ensure seamless ophthalmic surgical procedures.
  • Work alongside consultant ophthalmologists, ensuring the highest clinical standards.
  • Oversee the preparation, maintenance, and sterilisation of surgical instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to ongoing service improvements.
Candidate Requirements:
  • NMC or HCPC registration as an RGN or ODP.
  • Significant experience in ophthalmic surgery or a strong surgical background.
  • Proven leadership experience in a theatre setting.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and team-management skills.
