Join a Veterinary Team That Values You and Your Passion for Pets!

You chose to become a vet because you want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families. We share that mission—and we know that in order to provide the best care, you need the right support, work-life balance, and growth opportunities.
At our practice, we believe every veterinary professional should feel part of a supportive community that nurtures their passion and helps them thrive. That's why we’ve created a space where you can make a real impact while also feeling truly valued and part of something bigger.

What Makes Us Different?
We’re proud to be an independent practice, which gives us the freedom to deliver personalized care with a human touch. This freedom sets us apart: we’re not bound by corporate rules, allowing you to work the way you know is best for your patients. You’ll have the flexibility to offer the kind of care that makes a real difference to both pets and their owners.

Your Role
As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon with a special interest in community vet care, you’ll be based in our village clinic, where we’re dedicated to providing personalized, continuous care to our patients. From the moment you walk through the door, you’ll feel the difference. The warm, comforting atmosphere in our clinic fosters a sense of home that helps both our team and our clients feel welcome and supported.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) who has practical experience in veterinary medicine and diagnostics. Leadership and/or sole charge experience would be a bonus, especially if you’re familiar with KPIs and have experience leading a stable, consistent team. Above all, we want someone who embodies our core values: humility, respect, empathy, strong work ethic, honesty, communication, and teamwork.

What We Offer
  • Generously funded CPD (with Certificate funding available)
  • Standard pension benefits
  • 40% staff discount for your own pets
  • Generous holiday package (7 weeks, including bank holidays)
  • Occupational health resources, including mental health support
  • Enhanced parental leave (6 months paid at 90%)
  • Enhanced sickness benefit (2 weeks at 100%)
Work-Life Balance
You’ll enjoy a 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts (various shifts between 7:30 am–7:30 pm). You’ll have 1 hour for lunch and enjoy 2 days off in lieu for any weekends worked. We also offer flexible working arrangements and are happy to consider part-time applicants.

Salary
Competitive salary of £45,000 to £65,000+ per year, depending on your experience and any additional certifications.
