Key Details:
- Position: Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
- Location: Leeds
- Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 per year
- Hours: Full-time or part-time available
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
- Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and recovery of patients in the operating theatre
- Ensure the safe management of theatre equipment and instruments
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other theatre staff to ensure the smooth delivery of patient care
- Support patients during pre-operative and post-operative care
- Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
- Qualified Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered Nurse with theatre experience
- Experience in anaesthetics, recovery, and scrub roles
- Strong understanding of theatre procedures and patient safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
