We are seeking a skilled Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join a leading private hospital in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can enhance your clinical skills and make a meaningful impact on patient care.

Key Details:
  • Position: Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
  • Location: Leeds
  • Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 per year
  • Hours: Full-time or part-time available
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and recovery of patients in the operating theatre
  • Ensure the safe management of theatre equipment and instruments
  • Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other theatre staff to ensure the smooth delivery of patient care
  • Support patients during pre-operative and post-operative care
  • Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualified Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered Nurse with theatre experience
  • Experience in anaesthetics, recovery, and scrub roles
  • Strong understanding of theatre procedures and patient safety protocols
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexible, proactive, and patient-focused approach
