Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist – Mental Health

Location: Birmingham
Salary: From £49,390 (DOE)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role: We are seeking a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to provide professional leadership and support across our mental health inpatient services in Birmingham. You will oversee a team of occupational therapists, assistants, and activity workers while ensuring the effective delivery of therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the occupational therapy team
  • Plan and deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions
  • Ensure therapy programs are regularly reviewed and adapted to meet service-user needs
  • Promote recovery-focused, person-centred care within inpatient settings
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to enhance service-user outcomes
Requirements:
  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in mental health inpatient settings
  • Strong leadership, assessment, and therapeutic planning skills
  • Ability to work flexibly across multiple sites in Birmingham
