Lead Theatre Practitioner- Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the scrub team, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of surgical services with an unwavering commitment to patient safety.
  • Perform scrub duties across a wide range of surgical procedures, upholding the highest standards of sterile technique and infection control.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, proactively meeting operational and patient care needs.
  • Oversee the preparation, maintenance, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies that drive continuous improvement in surgical services and patient care.
Lead Theatre Practitioner - Qualifications & Experience:
  • Registration: Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in scrub roles, with a proven track record of leadership in a theatre setting.
  • Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control protocols.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to lead, inspire, and manage teams effectively.
