Lead Theatre Practitioner- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the scrub team, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of surgical services with an unwavering commitment to patient safety.
- Perform scrub duties across a wide range of surgical procedures, upholding the highest standards of sterile technique and infection control.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, proactively meeting operational and patient care needs.
- Oversee the preparation, maintenance, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies that drive continuous improvement in surgical services and patient care.
- Registration: Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Experience: Extensive experience in scrub roles, with a proven track record of leadership in a theatre setting.
- Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control protocols.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to lead, inspire, and manage teams effectively.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum, based on experience.
