You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient diagnostic imaging while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and compliance with national guidelines.
Senior Radiographer – Mammography - Key Responsibilities:
- Examinations: Perform and lead Mammography, X-ray, and Fluoroscopy procedures with precision and care.
- Service Improvement: Enhance service delivery, prioritizing patient safety and adherence to regulations.
- Protocol Development: Assist in creating and implementing departmental protocols and procedures.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, promoting best practices and compliance with standards.
- Flexibility: Participate in the departmental On Call Rota and adapt to varying working hours.
- Patient-Centered Care: Deliver compassionate care aligned with national benchmarks and best practices.
- Continuous Development: Pursue ongoing professional development to maintain HCPC registration and stay updated in radiographic advancements.
- Qualifications: BSc in Radiography or equivalent, with HCPC registration.
- Specialization: Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate experience, with strong expertise in Mammography and General X-ray.
- Additional Skills: Experience in Fluoroscopy (essential); CT and MRI experience (desirable).
