About the Role We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our independent practice in North West London, near Cricklewood. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive team where patient care and staff development are top priorities.
In this role, you’ll enjoy a variety of responsibilities, including inpatient care, assisting in surgeries, and running nurse clinics. You’ll also contribute to the training and support of student nurses and Vet Care Assistants, playing a vital role in their professional growth.

In this role, you’ll enjoy a variety of responsibilities, including inpatient care, assisting in surgeries, and running nurse clinics. You’ll also contribute to the training and support of student nurses and Vet Care Assistants, playing a vital role in their professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nursing duties, such as inpatient care, assisting in surgeries, and conducting nurse consultations.
- Mentor and guide student nurses and Vet Care Assistants.
- Provide excellent client communication, ensuring their needs and concerns are met with empathy and professionalism.
- Handle and restrain animals with confidence and care.
- Uphold high standards of patient care in line with RCVS guidelines and best practices.
- RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Confident in animal handling and restraint.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to take initiative.
- Knowledge of gold-standard veterinary practices.
- Eager to continue professional development and expand skills.
- Competitive salary: £30,000 - £33,000 (DOE).
- £500 CPD allowance with 2 paid CPD days annually (CPD actively encouraged).
- RCVS VN renewal fees paid.
