Job Title: Staff Nurse (RMN)

Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum

Hours: 48 hours per week (Days and Night Shifts Available)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse (RMN) to join our team in Preston. The successful candidate will possess strong skills in managing mental health conditions, rehabilitation, and eating disorders. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health conditions, ensuring their physical and mental health needs are met.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor and assess patients' progress, noting any changes in their condition and adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Support patients in their rehabilitation journey, encouraging and assisting them in achieving their recovery goals.
- Provide specialized care for patients with eating disorders, including monitoring nutritional intake and addressing related health issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and complies with regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care delivery.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in mental health nursing.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
- Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- Proven experience working with patients with mental health conditions, rehabilitation needs, and eating disorders.
- Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of mental health nursing practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts.
