Senior Fertility Nurse - Central London - Full time - Up to £55,000 - Independent Clinic 

About the Clinic
We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and highly skilled Fertility Nurse to join our dynamic fertility and reproductive medicine team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in all aspects of fertility care and a commitment to supporting individuals and couples on their journey toward parenthood. As a Fertility Nurse, you will work closely with physicians, embryologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care, provide education, and coordinate complex treatment plans.
Senior Fertility Nurse Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide individualized care and emotional support to patients undergoing fertility treatments such as IVF, IUI, egg freezing, and hormone therapies.
  • Education and Counseling: Educate patients about fertility treatments, procedures, medications, and lifestyle factors that may impact reproductive health.
  • Treatment Coordination: Manage patient treatment cycles, including scheduling appointments, monitoring hormonal levels, and ensuring timely administration of medications.
  • Procedural Support: Assist in fertility-related procedures, such as ultrasounds, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and intrauterine inseminations.
  • Medication Management: Administer and educate patients on injectable fertility medications, ensuring proper usage and compliance.
  • Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor patient progress and meticulously document clinical information in compliance with medical and legal standards.
  • Collaboration: Work in partnership with physicians, embryologists, and other members of the fertility team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their questions are addressed, and they feel supported throughout the fertility journey.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in reproductive technology and fertility treatments to provide evidence-based care.
Senior Fertility Nurse Qualifications
  • Education: Registered Nurse 
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in fertility, women’s health, or reproductive endocrinology.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in fertility treatments and procedures, including IVF and IUI.
    • Strong patient education and counseling skills.
    • Proficiency in administering and managing fertility medications.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment.
