Are you an experienced nurse ready to take your career to the next level? I’m currently working with a private hospital in a stunning location overlooking the Wiltshire countryside to find a Senior Registered Nurse for their Pre-Assessment team.

About the Senior Registered Nurse - Pre Assessment Role
As the Senior Registered Nurse in Pre-Assessment, you’ll play a key role in ensuring patients are fully prepared for their surgical journey. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Taking accurate patient and medication histories to ensure safe and efficient pre-operative care.
  • Managing the pre-operative patient pathway and facilitating a smooth transition through theatre and recovery.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior staff while leading by example.
  • Contributing to departmental meetings and representing the hospital in key areas of interest.
  • Implementing best practice nursing procedures in line with professional and regulatory standards.
This is a hands-on role where your leadership qualities and clinical expertise will shine, making a genuine impact on patients and colleagues alike.
 
About the Senior Registered Nurse - Pre Assessment
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
  • NMC registration and up-to-date clinical skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure smooth collaboration across teams.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development and a commitment to best practice.
  • Bonus: Phlebotomy skills (but don’t worry—we can train you in this area if needed).
Whether you’re already experienced in pre-assessment or looking to step into this specialty, the hospital offers full training to help you excel in this role.
