Job Description:

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team in Dagenham, Essex. The ideal candidate will be an Nurse with experience in Elderly and dementia care. This is a full-time, permanent position with flexible shifts covering both days and nights.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each resident.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record the condition of residents, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to provide holistic care.
- Ensure all nursing practices comply with established standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the training and development of healthcare assistants and other staff members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families.

Requirements:
- Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- Previous experience in Alzheimer and dementia care is highly desirable.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
