Job Title: Staff Nurse (Days & Nights)

Location: Whitchurch

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: From £22.50 per hour (with paid breaks)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team in Whitchurch on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents during night shifts, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Foster a supportive and caring environment for residents and their families.
- Supervise and support healthcare assistants and other staff members during night shifts.
- Participate in training and development activities to maintain professional competencies.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid NMC pin number.
- Previous experience in a similar nursing role, preferably in a care home or similar setting.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work night shifts on a full-time basis.
