Registered Veterinary Nurse (Part-Time with Potential for Full-Time) - Up to £30,000 FTE - Prestigious, Highly Rated Independent Practice

Location: 
Timperley Area
Hours: Part-time with the option for full-time (30–38 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts between 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9 AM – 12 PM)
Salary: Up to £30,000+ per annum (dependent on experience)

The Role:
We are looking for a confident and competent Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong preference for nurse consultations and be proactive in providing excellent patient care. The role offers a balance of theatre work, consult nursing, patient care, and clinical duties, contributing to a dynamic and rewarding working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Nurse Consultations – Running a variety of nurse-led clinics, providing client education, and supporting preventative healthcare
  • Surgical Assistance – Assisting vets in theatre, preparing surgical kits, and ensuring smooth perioperative patient care
  • Anaesthesia Monitoring – Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Inpatient Care – Providing compassionate and high-quality nursing care to hospitalised patients
  • Diagnostic Support – Conducting blood sampling, catheter placement, radiography, and in-house laboratory work
  • Client Communication – Advising clients on pet health, post-operative care, and treatment plans
  • Stock Management – Ordering and maintaining stock levels to support efficient practice operations
  • Reception Duties – Assisting with client check-ins, appointment scheduling, and general practice administration when required

Who We Are Looking For
  • A qualified RVN with at least two years of experience (although strong candidates with less experience may be considered)
  • Someone who leads by example, works well within a team, and is confident in all aspects of nursing
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • A proactive and organised approach to nursing duties
