Position Overview
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, collaborating with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team to deliver quality care. You’ll assess patients’ needs, implement care plans, and ensure safe and efficient care delivery in line with established standards.

You’ll assess patients’ needs, implement care plans, and ensure safe and efficient care delivery in line with established standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respectful care and promote shared decision-making.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process.
- Administer medications and treatments according to policy.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to coordinate care.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to minimize risks.
- Delegate tasks to ancillary staff in line with the Nurse Practice Act.
- Participate in professional development and performance improvement activities.
- Act as Charge Nurse when required and support staff development.
- BSN required, with current New York RN license.
- One year of acute care experience preferred.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (or willingness to complete within six months).
- PALS certification is needed for some roles, including those in the PACU and Emergency Department.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to move patients and objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
