Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the clinical operations of the nursing home to ensure an excellent standard of care is maintained.
- Manage and mentor nursing staff to foster a supportive and effective working environment.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents.
- Monitor and assess the quality of care provided, making improvements as necessary.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the home meets CQC standards.
- Provide leadership and support to the nursing team, encouraging professional development.
- Handle any clinical issues that arise, providing guidance and resolution.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and CQC standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
