Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with individual care plans and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor and assess residents’ health conditions, documenting any changes and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Develop and review personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Provide leadership and support to care staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Participate in training and development activities to maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills.
- Liaise with external healthcare professionals and agencies as required.
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
Requirements:
- Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN).
- Previous experience working in a nursing home setting.
- Strong clinical skills and a thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to delivering high standards of care.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts as required.
