Staff Nurse (Family Run Nursing Home)

Position: Staff Nurse (RGN)
Location: Selby, North Yorkshire
Rate of Pay: £20 per hour + Additional Benefits
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse (RGN) to join our highly regarded nursing home in Selby, North Yorkshire. Our CQC-rated Good home specializes in providing outstanding Dementia Care, and we are looking for an individual who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional care to our residents.
As a Staff Nurse, you will be instrumental in providing the highest standard of care, ensuring our residents enjoy a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment. We value nurses who are not only skilled and knowledgeable but who also have a genuine passion for dementia care and improving the quality of life for those we care for.
Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering compassionate, high-quality care to all residents
• Administering prescribed medication and treatments
• Continuously monitoring and assessing residents’ health and well-being
• Maintaining detailed, accurate care records
• Leading and supporting a team of care assistants to ensure the best possible care delivery
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards and regulations

Essential Criteria:

• RGN qualified (Registered General Nurse)
• A valid NMC Pin number
• Previous experience in dementia care is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for nursing
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• A caring, empathetic, and patient-centered approach
