Home Manager (Modern Nursing Home)

Location: Spalding (Accessible from Boston, Peterborough, and Wisbech)
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Nursing Home Manager looking for a new and rewarding challenge? We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our modern, purpose-built care home in Spalding. The service is designed to provide a comfortable and high-quality environment for our residents, offering a mix of nursing and residential care for up to 60 individuals.

As the Nursing Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of outstanding care and compliance with all regulations. The current CQC rating is Requires Improvement, and we are looking for a dedicated and passionate leader who can drive improvements and work closely with the team to achieve higher standards of care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care for all residents.
• Develop, implement, and monitor care plans, ensuring they are tailored to the individual needs of residents.
• Oversee the management of the team, including recruitment, training, and development.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies, driving improvements to achieve a higher rating.
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals.
• Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure the financial health of the service.

Essential Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ management experience in a care home setting.
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations and the ability to drive improvements.
• A compassionate and proactive leadership style, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
• A valid nursing qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Proven experience in managing a nursing and residential care service.
