Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at a GOOD CQC rated care home in Alnwick. This full-time position offers both day and night shifts, providing you with flexibility and a balanced work schedule.

Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality nursing care to elderly residents, including those with dementia and other complex needs.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each resident.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, promptly addressing any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Provide support and guidance to care assistants and other junior staff.
- Foster a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents and their families.

Requirements:

- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with current NMC registration.
- Experience in elderly care, particularly in dementia and nursing care.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including both day and night shifts.
