This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse ready to take the next step or a current Clinical Lead/Unit Manager seeking a fresh challenge in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

💼 About the Role: As Unit Manager, you'll play a key leadership role within the home, supporting the Home Manager and working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure outstanding care delivery. You'll lead by example on the floor and manage day-to-day clinical and operational duties, splitting your time evenly between hands-on nursing care and supernumerary responsibilities.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and care staff within your unit
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred nursing care
  • Act as a clinical role model and mentor to your team

  • Take responsibility for safeguarding, incident management, and audits
  • Support staff training and development
  • Contribute to occupancy and compliance targets

🧠 Skills & Experience:
  • NMC Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)
  • Proven experience in a senior nursing role within a nursing home (e.g., Senior Nurse, Clinical Lead, Unit Manager)

  • Confident in leading and developing teams
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional care to older people

🌟 What We Offer:

  • Balanced role with both clinical and management duties
  • Supportive management and career progression opportunities
  • Modern, purpose-built home with excellent facilities
  • Good CQC rating and a strong reputation in the local community
