Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursing home.
- Lead and motivate a dedicated team of staff to ensure the highest standards of care are consistently maintained.
- Oversee clinical practices, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines.
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff to create a cohesive, skilled, and compassionate team.
- Ensure the wellbeing and safety of residents through effective care planning and monitoring.
- Be involved in quality assurance and continuous improvement processes to maintain high standards.
- Must be a qualified nurse (RN, RGN, RMN, or RNLD).
- At least 1 year of experience in a senior clinical position, with a strong understanding of nursing home care.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to assess and manage care needs.
- A passion for delivering person-centred care and improving the lives of residents.
