We are a specialist inpatient service located in Darlington, offering a supportive and dynamic environment for adults requiring tailored care in a safe and therapeutic setting. Our hospital has a total of 107 beds across three key services:

• Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Acute Service
• Rehabilitation and Recovery (R&R) Service

We are committed to delivering high-quality care and have achieved a Good rating from CQC, reflecting our dedication to providing excellent patient outcomes and a positive working environment for our staff.

We are currently looking for a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adults with complex mental health conditions and challenging behaviors.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care plans.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients in line with best practice and hospital policies.
• Promote a therapeutic environment, contributing to recovery-focused outcomes.
• Act as a role model for junior staff and support their professional development.

About You:

• You will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) with a valid NMC registration.
• Experience in working with adults with mental health needs and challenging behaviors is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on compassionate care.
• A proactive and flexible approach to working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
