Position: Mental Health Nurse - CAMHS
Location: Oswaldtwistle
Salary: Up To £44,000 (CAMHS Experience Required for Top Banding)
Hours: Full Time

Specialty: CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Nurse with CAMHS experience to join an inpatient service in Oswaldtwistle. This role provides the chance to work within a DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) model of care, focusing on helping young people overcome mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, therapeutic care to adolescents with complex mental health needs.
• DBT Support: Utilize the DBT model to support patients in building resilience and managing emotions effectively.
• Team Collaboration: Work with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to implement comprehensive care plans.
• Family Involvement: Engage with families to support patient progress and provide guidance on ongoing care needs.

Requirements:

• NMC Registered: Valid NMC registration with relevant CAMHS experience.
• Experience with DBT: Familiarity with DBT methods is highly desirable.
• Empathetic and Supportive: Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
