Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse (RGN) to join our team at a centrally located Nursing Home in the heart of Leyton, Walthamstow. Our home is designed and purpose-built to provide the highest standard of nursing care and comfort. The interior is stylishly decorated and furnished to offer safe, comfortable, and welcoming surroundings for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and assess residents' health and well-being, noting any changes and reporting them to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided.
- Support residents and their families, providing emotional and practical support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including maintaining our GOOD CQC rating.
- Uphold the values and standards of the Nursing Home, including our Investors in People Award and Quality Standard ISO.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety in the home.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
- Current NMC registration.
- Previous experience in a nursing home or similar setting preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
