Job Description:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead (RGN) to join our team in Ashtead. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within a nursing home setting and will provide exceptional leadership and support to our nursing team. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of care for our 25 nursing residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the clinical care of residents to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
- Support and manage the nursing team, providing guidance and leadership.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of care plans.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
- Manage and monitor medication administration and records.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure holistic care.
- Conduct staff training and development to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team.
- Assist in the recruitment and induction of new staff members.
- Provide hands-on nursing care as needed to support the team.
- Handle any clinical issues or emergencies that arise during shifts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
- Participate in regular meetings with the management team to review and improve care standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
- Valid NMC PIN.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Clinical Lead in a nursing home.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
