Job Description:
Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join our team in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a full-time, permanent position offering 37.5 hours per week with shifts covering both days and nights. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive and high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Support patients and their families, providing education and information as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) qualification.
- Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
