Job Description:

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team in Surbiton. Our facility provides exceptional care for older people with physical and psychological needs, ensuring an atmosphere of comfort and optimism.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and record patient progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Provide support and guidance to healthcare assistants and other support staff.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Uphold the highest standards of infection control and health and safety practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements:
- Valid nursing qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a care home setting.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts as required.
