About the Role:
As an Ophthalmic Theatre Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care during ophthalmic procedures. You will work closely with experienced surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art theatre setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in ophthalmic surgeries, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile techniques.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for a variety of ophthalmic procedures.
  • Work alongside surgeons and anaesthetists to ensure smooth theatre operations.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to ophthalmic patients.
  • Ensure that the theatre environment is compliant with infection control and safety protocols.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualifications: NMC Registered Nurse with experience in ophthalmic theatre care.
  • Experience: Previous theatre experience, ideally in ophthalmology or related surgical specialities.
  • Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
