Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team in Keswick. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This is a permanent position with opportunities for both full-time and part-time employment, offering a competitive rate starting at £19.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing patient records.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of nursing care policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures and regulations.
- Support patients and their families, providing emotional support and education on health care needs.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or basic life support if necessary.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain up-to-date nursing skills and knowledge.
- Perform other nursing duties as required to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid NMC PIN.
- Previous experience in a nursing role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Flexibility to work a mixture of days and nights.
