We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team in Maldon. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This role offers a competitive hourly rate, paid breaks, and paid handover time, with a schedule that includes a mixture of day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents, following care plans and protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
- Monitor and record patient conditions, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and progress.
- Provide support and guidance to healthcare assistants and other team members.
- Communicate effectively with residents and their families, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and infection control.
Requirements:
- Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- Previous experience in a nursing role, preferably within a similar setting.
- Strong clinical and observational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a mixture of day and night shifts.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care.
