Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join our team in a reputable Nursing Home in Liverpool, Merseyside. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care and support to residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient conditions, updating care plans as necessary
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Assist with personal care tasks, including feeding, dressing, and hygiene
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of nursing interventions and patient progress
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Support the senior nursing team in ensuring the smooth running of the nursing home
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification
- Current NMC registration
- Previous experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting is desirable
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Commitment to continuous professional development
