Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our care home team in Leicester, Leicestershire. The care home is set in a beautiful, private setting and provides a variety of care services including Nursing, Residential, EMI Residential, and Respite Care. This role requires working night shifts and offers a competitive pay rate of £19.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with the care home's policies and procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record the health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring any changes are reported promptly.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Support and mentor junior staff and healthcare assistants.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
- Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- Previous experience working in a care home setting is preferred.
- Experience with EMI Residential care is an advantage.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex care needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Reliable and flexible to work night shifts.
