Health and Safety Advisor - Responsibilities
- Act as the ‘Responsible Person’ for compliance with HSE and CQC regulations.
- Collaborate with the Head of HR and external consultants to set and monitor annual health and safety goals.
- Oversee risk assessments, safe working procedures, and our safety management system.
- Conduct workplace inspections and dynamic risk assessments (e.g., health, food, and fire safety).
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure safety protocols are understood and followed.
- Compile and present data to the Health and Safety Group and Care Quality Committee.
- A NEBOSH National General Certificate (or working toward a NEBOSH Diploma).
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to occasionally work unsociable hours and visit multiple sites across South London, Surrey, and Kent.
- A current driving licence.
