Health and Safety Advisor – Prestigious Private Clinic (Neuro-Rehab) – £26,500 – £28,500 p/a (DOE)

We are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our client’s dynamic team and play a key role in maintaining high standards of safety across our client’s multi-site organisation. This part-time position (30 hours per week) offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference within a charity committed to expert, person-centred care.

Health and Safety Advisor - Responsibilities
  • Act as the ‘Responsible Person’ for compliance with HSE and CQC regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Head of HR and external consultants to set and monitor annual health and safety goals.
  • Oversee risk assessments, safe working procedures, and our safety management system.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and dynamic risk assessments (e.g., health, food, and fire safety).
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure safety protocols are understood and followed.
  • Compile and present data to the Health and Safety Group and Care Quality Committee.
Health and Safety Advisor - Requirements
  • A NEBOSH National General Certificate (or working toward a NEBOSH Diploma).
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work unsociable hours and visit multiple sites across South London, Surrey, and Kent.
  • A current driving licence.

Our main office is in Leatherhead, Surrey, with excellent connectivity to the surrounding areas. Leatherhead is commutable from: Epsom, Dorking, Guilford, Croydon, Kingston upon Thames, Sutton, Woking, Redhill, Reigate, Cobham, Ashtead, and Banstead
