Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team in Skellingthorpe, Lincoln. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and uphold the standards of our healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical information.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training.
- Support and mentor junior nursing staff and students.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
