Registered Veterinary Nurse - Doncaster - Up to £30,000 - Prestigious Small Animal Practice

About Us:
We are a well-established veterinary practice in Doncaster with a supportive team of Nurses and Surgeons. As part of a corporate group, we benefit from the resources and stability it offers, but we maintain a close-knit, friendly, and collaborative environment. Our practice sees a wide range of small animal cases, with lots of surgery and hands-on nursing opportunities, making this the ideal role for a nurse looking to enhance their clinical skills.

The Role:
We’re looking for a dedicated RVN to join our busy, thriving team. As an all-rounder nurse, you’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, from surgeries to consultations, nurse clinics, and patient care. We’re particularly looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys being hands-on. Clinical coaching would be a huge advantage, but we’re happy to support your development if you’re looking to build on your experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with surgeries and anaesthesia
  • Providing high-quality patient care
  • Running nurse clinics
  • General nursing duties, including inpatient care and lab work
  • Working closely with the vet team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients
  • Clinical coaching (ideal but not essential)
About You:
We are open to applications from newly qualified RVNs, but ideally, we’re looking for someone with experience who can hit the ground running in a busy practice. If you’re enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to continue learning, we’d love to meet you. Clinical coaching experience would be a bonus, as we aim to support and develop our team’s skills.

Our Team:
You’ll be working alongside a friendly and experienced team of dedicated Vets and Nurses alike. We believe in supporting each other, providing a great environment to learn and grow. There’s always a sense of camaraderie, and we’re all driven by the same goal: delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Why Join Us?
  • Competitive salary of £26,500 - £30,000
  • Work-life balance with a 40-hour week and 1:4 Saturdays
  • A supportive, close-knit team
  • Opportunity for further clinical development and coaching
  • Work with a varied caseload in a fast-paced, rewarding environment
  • Enjoy the benefits of working in a corporate practice, with additional resources and support, while maintaining a small, personable team atmosphere
