Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team in Solihull, West Midlands. This is a permanent position, working 42 hours per week. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their health, comfort, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high standards of nursing care to residents during night shifts.
- Conducting regular assessments of residents' health and developing personalized care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Providing emotional support and guidance to residents and their families.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participating in training and development activities to maintain and enhance nursing skills.
- Assisting with the orientation and training of new staff members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
- Proven experience as a Staff Nurse or similar role, preferably in a care home or similar setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
