Job Description:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead/Charge Nurse (RMN) to join our dedicated healthcare team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership and management to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care. This role involves overseeing the nursing staff, managing clinical practices, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Leadership:
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the nursing team.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

2. Staff Management:
- Manage, mentor, and support nursing staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Oversee staff training and development programs.

3. Operational Management:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.

4. Quality Improvement:
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct audits and prepare reports on clinical outcomes.
- Address and resolve any issues related to patient care.

5. Patient Care:
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

6. Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with staff, patients, and their families.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and external agencies.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC pin.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of mental health nursing practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
