This full-time role supports the Endoscopy team in delivering high-quality care across the endoscopy patient pathway.
Endoscopy Practitioner - Candidate Requirements:
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
- Basic and advanced competence/qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination
- Endoscopy Decontamination Operator’s Course
- Teaching, assessing, or mentorship qualifications
- Familiarity with standards from CQC, GRS, JAG, and HTM 01-06
- ILS certification
- GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent functional skills
- Provide planned, high-quality care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
- Support the Endoscopy Practitioner Lead in managing care within the unit
- Contribute to maintaining Essential Quality Requirements and Best Practice standards, including decontamination protocols
- Engage in ongoing skills development and knowledge enhancement
