As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will manage the safe and efficient delivery of diagnostic imaging, ensuring the highest standard of patient care while adhering to national policies and procedures.
Senior Radiographer – Mammography - Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform high-quality Mammography, X-ray, and Fluoroscopy examinations.
- Monitor and improve service delivery, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental protocols.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff and ensure adherence to all relevant policies.
- Participate in the departmental On Call Rota and flexible working hours.
- Ensure patient care is in line with best practice and national standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development and maintain HCPC registration.
- BSc in Radiography or equivalent, with HCPC Registration.
- Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography
- Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience, with expertise in Mammography and General X-ray
- Experience in Fluoroscopy, CT (desirable), and MRI (desirable).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
