We are currently seeking a highly skilled Medical Lead - Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join a leading mental health service in Exeter. Role Overview:

• Lead psychiatric care for adults within an acute inpatient setting, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat complex mental health conditions.
• Provide guidance and clinical leadership to junior psychiatrists and nursing staff.
• Develop and implement individual treatment plans and contribute to service development.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical processes and procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualifications: GMC Registered Consultant Psychiatrist with a focus on adult psychiatry.
• Experience: Significant experience in acute psychiatric inpatient care, with leadership and management exposure.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Commitment: A strong dedication to delivering high-quality patient care and enhancing mental health services.
