Job Description:
Working within one of the largest Mental Health Support Organisations in the UK.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Ward Manager to join a Private Independent Mental Health Hospital in Cheshire. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Eating Disorders, and Mental Health Conditions. This role requires excellent management skills to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ward, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Provide leadership and support to the nursing and healthcare team, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Develop and implement care plans for patients with CAMHS, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage staff rotas, recruitment, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Promote continuous professional development and training for staff members.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by patients, families, or staff.
Requirements:
- In Order to be considered for this role you must be RMN Qualified with an active NMC registration.
- Significant experience in CAMHS, Eating Disorders, and Mental Health Conditions.
- Proven management and leadership skills within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- Strong commitment to patient care and quality improvement.
