Join Our Growing Team as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) at an Independent Referral Hospital in Hampshire!

We are an independent referral practice located in the heart of Hampshire, renowned for our expertise in a range of specialisms including Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, and Soft Tissue Surgery. Due to increased demand and our commitment to providing the highest standard of care, we are expanding our facilities and opening a dedicated A&E department to offer round-the-clock emergency care starting early 2025.

About You:

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) experience, who is ready to bring their expertise to a growing practice. You should be passionate about providing the highest level of care to our patients and be eager to work in a busy, multi-disciplinary referral setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing excellent care to emergency and critical care patients in our new 24-hour department
• Assisting in a variety of specialist disciplines including ophthalmology, orthopaedics, and soft tissue surgery
• Monitoring anaesthesia and performing diagnostic tests
• Delivering high-quality nursing support in both routine and emergency situations
• Collaborating with our team of specialists and supporting our ongoing commitment to patient care excellence

Requirements:

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with ECC experience
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
• A proactive attitude and a keen interest in emergency and critical care nursing
• Ability to work on a rotating shift pattern, including nights and weekends
